Self-Belief

I've been striving to have self-belief for as long as I can remember. Unforturnately it was never ingrained into me by my parents growing up. Some kids are lucky to have parents who care enough to pass on the right lessons and beliefs to their children, but others are less for-

tunate. Coming from an alcoholic household, it was only the necessities that mattered.

I always wanted to believe in myself. I bought all the books, listened to all the tapes. But

deep down, I didn't feel worthy or intelligent. I spent a fortune on material which was very

good, but I felt broken. Being an alcoholic myself just made things worse. Eventually, I found

sobriety with a 12 step program and now I'm five years sober.

I've learned over the last few years that self-belief comes from within. With time, I've learned

that I am more capable than I believed. My dream was always to have a business that helped other people and animals. This is how Compassio came about. I'll be using more of my quotes (which I found out I'm good at) and asking questions. I love asking questions because it gets people talking and thinking. More to come.

Compassion Is Strength
